A Gentle Space for Growth and Self-Understanding
Rebecca Sherfey, LPC-MHSP, IECMH-E® Founder & Therapist
Rebecca is an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the emotional wellness of children, adolescents, and the families who support them. Her work focuses on helping young people navigate the "big feelings" that often lead to anxiety, social withdrawal, or behavioral outbursts.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Rebecca specializes in building emotional resilience. She works collaboratively with her young clients to help them identify and regulate intense emotions, moving them from reactivity to confidence and control.
Recognizing that building a resilient child takes a team, Rebecca also specializes in parental support and advocacy. She provides a judgment-free space for caregivers who feel exhausted, overstretched, or as if they are "walking on eggshells" at home. By integrating evidence-based modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, she equips the entire family unit with the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges with a sense of groundedness and connection.
