Family Dynamics & Conflict
-
Bridging the Gap: Helping teens and parents to communicate in a way that actually gets them heard.
-
Autonomy: Finding ways to gain independence while maintaining a sense of safety at home.
How We Work: Hybrid Flexibility
I know your schedule is packed. That’s why I offer two ways to meet:
-
The Office (In-Person): A neutral ground away from home where you can speak freely.
-
Telehealth (Virtual): Meet from your room or a quiet space on campus. No commute, no awkward waiting rooms—just high-level support where you are.

Telehealth is often the preferred mode for teens. It offers:
-
The "Comfort Zone" Advantage: You can join from your room, wearing what you want, in a space where you feel safe.
-
Flexibility: No need for a parent to drive you to an office; we meet where you are.
-
Privacy: A secure, HIPAA-compliant platform ensures our conversations stay between us.
Navigating Identity & Social Stress
High school and early college are social minefields. We work through the "noise" of social media and peer pressure to find your signal.
-
Social Anxiety: Moving from "performance" to authentic connection. Building "social muscles" to navigate peer groups and school.
-
Boundaries: Learning how to say "no" to others and "yes" to yourself. Helping Teens to learn how to say "no" and advocate for themselves
-
Self-Esteem and Self-Worth: Moving past the "highlight reels" of social media to find their true value. Building a foundation that isn't dependent on a GPA or a "like" count.
